Moosalpregion launches new winter offers
Against the current uncertainties, the Moosalp region continues to invest in its offer. With the concept of the Freeridecross, the Moosalp Bergbahnen even implement a Switzerland-wide new concept of a funline for skiers and snowboarders. Through the BRACK.CH Skimovie, the Moosalpregion makes its partnership with the slalom specialist Ramon Zenhäusern tangible for the guests.
Investing in the future and offering guests a great offer is the motto in the Moosalp region. Despite the Corona crisis, the Moosalp Bergbahnen have used the summer months to present themselves even more attractively for the coming winter. In addition to smaller and larger overhauls, new offers for the winter were also created.
Concept Freeridecross
"Freeridecross" is the name of the new concept that Moosalp Bergbahnen is implementing together with the provider Schneestern for the upcoming winter season. The Freeridecross is a sporty further development of a funline and offers skiers and snowboarders a varied course. On a course of 500 meters, guests will find jumps, waves and troughs, steep wall curves, knock-off figures and a Wood Drop, a jump made of wood, which resembles the roof of a Valais Stadol. A special highlight is a more than 10m long snow tunnel, which can be skied through or over on two different lines. The Freeridecross in the Moosalpregion will be a novelty in Switzerland. So far, this concept has only been implemented four times in the neighboring countries of Austria, Germany and Italy.
BRACK.CH as partner
This new entertainment offer is supported among others by the online retailer BRACK.CH, which wants to commit itself as a longer-term partner in the Moosalpregion. This valuable and strong partnership will further strengthen the development of the Moosalpregion. Selina Döringer, CEO of Moosalp Bergbahnen is pleased about the future cooperation in this project: "We are happy to be able to present new offers to our guests even in uncertain times. With BRACK.CH we have found a strong partner, which opens up new possibilities for us". Already last winter there was a cooperation between BRACK.CH and the Moosalpregion through packages in connection with Ramon Zenhäusern.
Moosalp Bergbahnen confident
Moosalp Bergbahnen is confident about the upcoming winter season. Thanks to the railroad infrastructure, which consists of ski lifts and an open chairlift, the protective measures can be very well observed. An appropriate protection concept is in place to provide guests and employees with the best possible protection against the virus. In addition to safe skiing operations, Moosalp Bergbahnen now offers its guests a new attraction in the form of the Freeridecross and the BRACK.CH Skimovie, which complements the existing entertainment offering in the Moosalp region, consisting of a speed course and a giant slalom with timing. The opening of the new facilities is planned for the start of the season on December 19, 2020.
