The history of Moosalp Bergbahnen began in Bürchen in 1961. With the construction of the first lift, at that time still under the name Skilift Bürchen AG, the foundation stone of today's skiing area was laid. Today, due to the numerous ski lifts, Moosalp Bergbahnen currently operates a pure winter business. The ski area has nine lifts, seven snow guns, four piste machines and 25 kilometers of slopes.
