The Moosalpregion in a new dress

THE MOOSAL REGION IN A NEW DRESS

The Moosalpregion wears a new dress since August 20, 2019. The rebranding is intended to express the desired professionalization of the tourism region and to reflect the new positioning thrust of relaxed, decelerating and nature-oriented tourism. The rebranding was triggered by the reorganization of the tourism organization and the mountain railroads, the tourism merger between Bürchen and Törbel, and the renovation of the Moosalpregion website. In the sense of the future-oriented strategy of the entire destination, the communicative appearance towards the outside was also professionally and sustainably built up.

The new look

Modern, elegant and nature-oriented, the Moosalp region presents itself in the future. The colors are calm and reflect the mountains, nature, summer and winter at Moosalp as well as the light emitted by the surrounding Valais mountains. The appearance is contemporary and puts the guest and his needs in the foreground.

The logo

The logo is composed of a mountain chain symbol and a lettering. The mountain chain was derived from the letters M and A, from the word MoosAlp(region). As a mountain chain, they also symbolize the Valais mountain world in which Moosalp and its guests are located. The coloring shows that the mountain world of the Moosalp region has a powerful effect in summer as well as in winter. The maximum reduction of the mountain range to the single mountain on the far left of the row also resembles the Bietschhorn. The lettering has evolved from the previous appearance of the Moosalpregion from Moosalp to Moosalpregion. This change shows the common spirit of the region, which wants to be perceived as a region through the merger of Bürchen and Törbel. The lettering is simple, modern and natural.

The claim

"hiä chusch ämbri" translates to relax, decelerate and shut down the mind in the Moosalpregion. It is meant to reflect the relaxing nature and tranquility of the Moosalpregion. Through the Valais German it also shows the connection to the homeland, the population and the canton. The claim thus also linguistically expresses the quaint village centers of Bürchen, Törbel, Zeneggen and Embd as well as the culture of the inhabitants of the Moosal region.

The website

The website is guest-oriented and focuses on their needs. It has an emotional and informative effect at the same time on those interested in the Moosalpregion. As an online info center, it also takes over valuable tasks of the info center outside of opening hours and conveys information to the guest. On the other hand, it enables the guest to make online bookings and thus approaches his current needs.

The visual language

The visual language puts the focus on the Moosalpregion and its nature. It shows the vastness, the naturalness, the culture and the values of the region in combination with the tourist offer of the destination.
