Tour de Suisse in the Moosalpregion

This will be a cycling spectacle in a class of its own. After 85 editions, the Tour de Suisse will have one more highlight: the Moosalp! The fourth largest national tour in the world will feature a stage arrival on June 17 on the Moosalp. The best of the best will have to fight for their victory, especially on the climb from Stalden via Törbel to Moosalp. Unique television images from the Moosalp region are already guaranteed.

Hike as much as you want - in absolute tranquility

The Moosalpregion is situated in beautiful and sunny terraces high above the Rhone Valley. Larch forests, mountain lakes, vantage points and mountain peaks - all this can be hiked in the Moosalpregion. In the hiking area of the Moosalpregion there is something for every taste in every season. Whether flat, steep, in the forest or up to 3000 meters above sea level. The really special thing about it is the peace and quiet you experience. So you can really go downhill.

Where mountain lakes and mountain panorama unite

When the crocuses completely dispel the snow on the Moosalp in spring, the mountain lakes on the sunny high plateau fill with ice-cold, crystal-clear melt water. With luck, lakes form in the moorland and disappear during the year. May is the most beautiful time to explore the mountain lakes on the Moosalp. You will stiffen with humility when Bietschhorn or the mountain range of the Mischabel group will be reflected in the clear mountain lake.

The charm of traveling in a motorhome

Traveling in your own four walls on wheels - and being connected to nature: That's how you could casually describe a vacation in a motorhome. The Moosalpregion offers several pitches in Bürchen in the middle of a meadow with a breathtaking view. In the middle of the village - and yet completely alone. True to the motto "Hiä chusch ämbri" you will experience a great mountain scenery and a totally relaxed stay at Camp Bietschhorn.

Kneipp refreshes body and mind

You can hear the quiet splashing of the water - and nothing else but silence. The new Kneipp zone at the "Nasse Pletscha" between Bürchen and the Moosalp is a beautiful natural place with a pool for treading water, barefoot paths and Kneipp experiences. The naturopath and priest Sebastian Kneipp developed the Kneipp therapy, which is supposed to harden the body and the mind and thus strengthen them against environmental influences. A regular visit to the Kneip zone strengthens the immune system and self-healing powers.
